Jeremie Francone and Laurence Nigay of the Laboratory of Informatics of Grenoble, EHCI Research Group have created an iPad app that uses head coupled perspective (HCP). It tracks your head with the front facing camera and changes the angle of the 3D display to create the impression of depth.

This is how I thought the Nintendo 3DS worked but sadly it doesn’t. I’m really looking forward to seeing it working.
